LLB (Honors) and LLM, has been a career-journalist. He took advanced journalism courses at Macalester College (Minnesota), at the Thomson Foundation (United Kingdom), and in Berlin, Germany. He also interned with several US newspapers and media houses. In Bangladesh, he worked for The Bangladesh Observer and for Bangladesh Chapter of the Amnesty International. Most recently he held a business executive position with the Bashundhara Group, a leading business and industrial conglomerate in Bangladesh. His research interests include journalism, media relations, and international business ventures.
