No. The Bureau of International Professional Standards assesses demonstrated capability, not academic history. Foundation is open to anyone, and the portfolio route lets experienced practitioners enter at Practitioner, Professional or Specialist level with no formal qualification at all.
No — it is indicative. It applies the same level descriptors an assessor uses, but a real decision is made against your actual portfolio. Advisers confirm the entry level before you commit to anything.
Work you can describe and be questioned on: systems you built, analyses you delivered, incidents you handled, programmes you ran. Employer references, code, reports and post-incident reviews all qualify. Coursework alone does not, above Foundation.
Yes. The experience column is typical, not a gate. If your evidence supports a higher level, the evidence wins — that is the point of a competency-based framework.
